David Nottage has been the Regional Coordinator since the beginning of his administration in February 2016. As Regional Coordinator, his duties include representing the Region to the STARFLEET Admiralty Board, and act as the chief executive of the Region.
Admiral Nottage has been a long-standing member of STARFLEET for over 25 years. Prior to his service as Regional Coordinator, he served as Vice-Regional Coordinator under Admiral Jerry Tien (2012-2016). In addition to these duties, he serves as the commanding officer of USS Golden Gate, based in San Francisco, California. Admiral Nottage is a former CO of the Year (2012-2014) and Flag Officer of the Year (2015), both within Region 4.
Brigadier General Michael D Garcia
Michael Garcia serves as the Vice-Regional Coordinator for Region 4. His duties include Awards Coordination, Shakedown Operations, Event Liaison, and acting as the Chief Assistant to the Regional Coordinator.
General Garcia has been a member of STARFLEET for nearly a decade. He is the former Vice-Chief (2013-2014) and Chief of STARFLEET Communications (2014-2015), Within Region 4, he has served as Chief of Communications (2013-2014) and Chief Engineering Officer (2011-2013). He was the founding CO of USS Gygax (2010-2015) in San Jose, California, of which he remains a member. General Garcia is a former CO of the Year for Region 4 (2015), and is a recipient of the Order of Cochrane (First Class).
Commodore Ros Haywood
Chief Communications Officer
Ros Haywood has worked in Communications since joining Starfleet in 2005, currently serving as Chief Communications Officer for Region 4.
She has designed websites for Starfleet ships, was the Chief of Regional Internet Services for Region 20, and was the designer of the site which won the ‘Most WOW Website of the Year’ award (R4, 2012). She has won the Starfleet Academy’s Red Squad ‘Best of the Best’ award twice, writing 102 short courses for the colleges of Communication, English, Shakespeare, and Science Fiction Writers, among others. She is the former CO of Relay Station William Shakespeare (R10), plus founder member and Officer of the Year (2009) on the USS Wessex, where she serves as Chief Communications Officer and Second Officer.
